Starbucks launched its branch in Brunei last February and we were fortunate enough to be trusted by the most-famous coffee franchise in the world as its partner in making a PR campaign. Brunei has a growing coffee culture and we left no stones unturned in ensuring the coffee chain store gets exceptional media attention it deserves.
We invited representatives from the whole media spectrum to make sure the launch was covered in all offline and online platforms. Friends from print media, bloggers, TV, radio, and baristas were all invited. As a result, the Starbucks launch became one of the most seen, heard, read, and talked about event in Brunei at that time. TV, radio, glossy magazines, newspapers, and blogs all featured the launch. Even social media like facebook, twitter, and instagram went abuzz with Starbucks.
